Roy’s Cafe, Route 66, 2013. New moon with full Milky Way.

This iconic roadside stop was a once bustling desert outpost on fabled US Route 66 in the Mojave Desert, left to the winds of time and sands of the desert. Now partially restored, this image captures the remote location and innovative Googie architecture of the sign.
